Lady Eagles rally late by Patriots

PEDRO — Sugar Creek Christian Academy proved you have to play all four quarters.
Trailing by 36-32 after three quarters, the Lady Eagles outscored the Calvary Christian Academy Lady Patriots by 10 points in the fourth quarter to rally for a 54-48 win.
The Lady Eagles had four players in double figures led by Ailah Dorofeey with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
Chloe Long got 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, Emma Harper 12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists, and Rachel Gillespie added 10 points.
Ashlyn Bowles scored 21 points and Kaylyn Ruby 13 points for the Lady Patriots.
Sugarcreek was up 12-10 after the first quarter as Long had 6 points. Kaitlyn Richards had 6 points for Calvary.
The Lady Patriots came back to tie the game 24-24 at the half as Bowles scored 11 points including a 3-pointer. Long had 6 more points in the quarter.
Ruby and Bowles had 4 points each as Calvary took a 36-32 lead after three quarters.
But Dorofeey scored 10 points and Gillespie had 4 more as Sugarcreek rallied to outscore Calvary 22-12 in the fourth quarter to get the win.
