Chili Fest Postponed

The Lawrence County DD’s annual Chili Fest has been postponed due to concerns about the coronavirus. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

Dawson-Bryant BOE Meeting

The Dawson-Bryant Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. at its offices.

Parks and Rec Meeting

The Ironton City Council’s Parks and Recreation committee will meet at 4 p.m. in Council Chambers to follow up with Capital Improvement Projects including Little League, Etna Street, the spray park, the bridge entrance and the Rotary Park fountain.

Ironton BOE Meeting

The Ironton Schools Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the administration building.

Lawrence County Retired Teachers Meeting

The Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation will meet at noon at 327 Vernon St., Ironton.

Permit Session Canceled

Due to the Ohio EPA staff being requested to cancel or postpone large gatherings due to the coronavirus unless deemed mission critical, the scheduled informational session about dredging and filling permits at the JROC Center has been canceled.
