Church Services Suspended

The New Valley Baptist Church has suspended services until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The church is located on County Road 52.

PERI Meeting

PERI Chapter 62 has canceled its meeting on April 1, per recommendations from its state organization, due to COVID-19.

Buckeye Rural Electric

Buckeye Rural Rio Grande and Linville offices will be closed to the public until further notice. They will continue to accept phone calls and provide service to members via the drive-thru window. They only plan to meet face-to-face on an as needed basis and by appointment.

Planning Commission Meeting Canceled

At this time, the Lawrence County Regional Planning Commission meeting at the Giovanni’s on April 13 in Chesapeake will be canceled due to the coronavirus.
