Lawrence County 4-H has canceled all in-person programming through July 6, due to restrictions surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

The date falls before the Lawrence County Fair, where 4-H members bring their animal projects. That event is set to begin July 11 and organizers on the fair board  told The Ironton Tribune last week that they are still proceeding to hold that event and will not cancel, unless the state leaves restrictions on mass gatherings in place.
