Early signs with Herd basketball

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men’s basketball head coach Dan D’Antoni announced the signing of Logan High School standout David Early on Wednesday.
Early closed his high school career as Logan’s all-time leading scorer with over 2,200 points, while leading the Cardinal Conference in scoring the last three seasons and being named first-team all-state during the 2018-19 season.
In 18 games during his shortened 2019-20 senior season, he averaged a double-double with 27.8 points per game and 12.1 rebounds per contest. Early recorded 11 double-doubles during his high school career.
He joins Obinna Anochili-Killen as part of the 2019-20 Marshall men’s basketball signing class.
