LuAnne Burgbacher

Nov. 18, 1960–April 18, 2020

 

LuAnne Clinton Burgbacher, 59, of Ironton, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020, at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth.

LuAnne was born Nov. 18, 1960, in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Wayne and Luthella (Lu) (Buckley) Clinton.

LuAnne was a graduate of Ironton High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole. She enjoyed being with people, especially her and family, and loved to help others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Kathryn Clinton Whitt; two uncles, James Buckley and James Clinton; two aunts, Magarett Tinkham and Arlene Hanlon.

She is survived by son, Shawn Burgbacher, of Ironton; brother, Chris Clinton, of Ashland, Kentucky; two nieces, Kristina Clinton, of Orlando, Florida and December Potter, of Ironton; nephew, Brandon Whitt, of Ironton; an aunt, Pattie Gibson, of Romulous, Michigan; and also, several cousins whom she was very close too.

Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memorial Gardens, 198 Private Road 1336, South Point, with Father David Huffman officiating.

There will be no public visitation and Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gene Bias

Gene Bias, 79, of South Point, died Sunday, April 19, 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Arlene South Bias.

A private graveside service will be held at the South Family Cemetery.
