Maxine Burcham

Maxine Burcham, 76, died on April 20, 2020, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.

Services were held at Haverhill Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 24, with Rex Smith officiating.

O’Keefe-Baker Funeral home is assisting the family.

 

Virginia Fizer

Virginia Gayle “Jenny” Fizer, 75, of Coal Grove, died Friday, April, 24, 2020.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point.

Visitation will be noon-1 p.m. Monday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home.

Thornton, Gilbert
Gilbert Ray Thornton, 65, of Ironton, died, Wednesday April 22, 2020, at his home.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated and his ashes will be buried at a later date in the family plot.

Memorial donations should be directed to the family to help with final expenses.
His care has been entrusted to the Taylor-Brown family of Brown Funeral Chapel.

Dorothy Pollard
Dorothy F. (Easter) Pollard, 91, of Portsmouth, died April 24, 2020, at her home.

Per her wishes, she be cremated. There was no funeral service or viewing as per Dotty’s request.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SOMC Hospice.
Her family has entrusted her care to the Taylor-Brown Family of Brown Funeral Chapel.
