ASHLAND, Ky. — Kroger Health and Governor Andy Beshear have announced there will be a free COVID-19 drive-thru testing site at Ashland Community and Technical College, 902 Technology Dr., Ashland, Kentucky, from 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

Individuals must schedule an appointment via Kroger Health’s online portal at www.krogerhealth.com/covidtesting, or by calling 1-888-852-2567.

Scheduling an appointment is required to receive a test. Registrants will then receive an email confirmation with pre-appointment paperwork to complete.

When a person arrives for their test, they should have their photo ID ready and should leave their window rolled up for check-in, until a health care practitioner comes to the car to provide the test.

“We are excited to continue to expand testing throughout the state of Kentucky and offer this incredible benefit to the Commonwealth. The program continues to increase the amount of testing we offer in the state,” said Gov. Beshear.

Colleen Lindholz, president of Kroger Health, said the testing aligns with the company’s vision of helping people live healthier lives.

“Kroger Health is proud to partner with the Governor’s office and the City of Ashland in this important effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic,” she said.

The drive-thru testing location will feature a self-administered nasal swab and test results are expected within approximately 48 hours.

The Ashland Police Department and the National Guard will be present to direct traffic to the designated testing area.
