Man arrested after over 150 grams of crystal methamphetamine found in his apartment

An Ironton man was arrested on drug trafficking charges on Wednesday morning after U.S. Marshals and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority officers found over 150 grams of crystal methamphetamine during a search of his South Fourth Street residence.

 

The officers were serving an outstanding warrant on Frank Joliff, 31, of Ironton and after officers found illegal drugs, they called in the Lawrence County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Ironton Police Department for further investigation.

On a Facebook post, Lawrence County Prosecutor Brigham Anderson said the during a consensual search, officers located approximately 153 grams of crystal methamphetamine, approximately six grams of fentanyl, over $5,000 in cash, scales and other drug-trafficking related paraphernalia.

 

As of Wednesday evening, Joliff was being held at the Lawrence County Jail on a holder from the Adult Parole Authority as well as one count of first-degree felony trafficking in drugs (methamphetamine) and one count of second-degree felony trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound.

 

Joliff  will be arraigned in Ironton Municipal Court at 9 a.m. Thursday
