PINE GROVE — The course is the same but it carries a new name.
The Ironton Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association held their regular Tuesday outing on June 16 outing at the Pine Grove Golf Club.
The group noted that the Pine Grove Golf Club — formerly the Ironton Country Club — is a public golf course and welcomes all women who want to play golf and enjoy the company of the other ladies who gather on Tuesday mornings beginning with breakfast treats at 9 o’clock and begin golfing events at 9:30.
Pat Lambert served as the hostess for the day and took care of breakfast treats and then announced the day’s events.
Following the morning of golfing, the ladies enjoyed lunch as Lambert announced the event winners that save Pat Riggs winning two events while April Graf and Janeen Spradlin notching one each.
April Graf will serve as next Tuesday’s hostess when the group meets at 9 a.m. for a brief business meeting and breakfast followed by golfing at 9:30.
Members of the club this season are: Pat Lambert, April Graf, Dora Carmon, Jeanine Spradlin, Sharon Fox, Margaret Donley, Becky Dillow, Pat Riggs, Lana Moore and Joyce Lewis.
New members and guests are always welcomed as the group strives to be competitive but more importantly to have a good time.
