Calvin “Art” Kidd, passed away Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born July 17, 1952, in Ironton, to the late Leroy Kidd and Mary(Hall) Kidd Addis.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Dorsett) Kidd, whom he married on Aug. 19,1987.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Kidd; and a sister, Evelyn “Sue” Goody.

In addition to his wife he is survived by six children, Kristi Hampton, of Arizona, David Kidd, of Ohio, Allen Kidd, of New Paris, Indiana, Larry (Karla) Kitchen and Don (Rita) Kitchen, both of Florida, and Bill (Shannon Scales) Kitchen, of New Paris Indiana; twenty grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, James Kidd, and a sister Phyllis (Ted) Kelly, both of Ohio.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, where a 1 p.m. service will be conducted. Burial will follow in Lawrence Cemetery, Pedro. Memorial gifts may be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
