Crews from the Ironton Fire Department were changing the flags at the Rotary Fountain, located at Third and Center streets, for the Memorial Day holiday.

While doing the work, they discovered the pole needed to be re-roped and brought in a ladder truck to complete the job, before raising an American flag, Ohio flag and POW/MIA flag.
