PRE-GAME NOTES

Marshall began Sun Belt Conference action at Southern Miss Saturday with a 68-66 loss in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Across the last five games, Mikal Dawson has tallied at least 10 points with at least 19 points in three of those contests.

Dezayne Mingo leads The Herd at 4.8 assists per game this season. The Canadian guard has registered five or more assists in five of his 12 appearances.

Elon enters its final non-conference matchup of the 2024-25 season off a 73-69 win at home over UNCG on Saturday.

TJ Simpkins leads the Phoenix at 15.1 points per game while dishing out 3.0 assists per game.

As a team the Phoenix rank fifth nationally at 44.0 rebounds per game and seventh in rebound margin at 12.1.
