Two men were arrested Tuesday afternoon by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office following an alleged home invasion in Ironton.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Jeff Lawless, dispatchers at about 12:50 p.m. received a burglary-in-progress call at a home in the 900 block of County Road 7A.

When deputies arrived, they allegedly found the two men “confronted by the daughter of the homeowner, who is also a neighbor, in the house that was burglarized,” Lawless said.

Arrested were Chris Destocki, 34, of 1606 Charlotte St., Ironton, and Nathaniel DeLong, 36, of West View Drive, South Point.

Lawless said detectives are still collecting evidence and the case is under investigation.

Destocki and DeLong are expected to appear in Ironton Municipal Court today.
