VENICE, Fla. — Barbara G. Crance , 81, of Venice, formerly of Ironton, died on Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, in Venice. She was born Sept. 19,1929, the daughter of the late Arthur Jack and Leona Wagner Bingham.

She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Gallipolis, attended the University of Kentucky and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marion Meyers ,Dorothy Wieteki and Sue Crance; and two grandchildren, Mark Crance and Ashley Crance.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Donald L. Crance of Venice; four sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Ruth Ann Crance of Evansville, Ind., John and Vickie Crance of Irving, Ky., Rick Crance of Ironton and Dan and Sue Crance of Summerville, S. C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Gary Geswein of Johnson City, Tenn. and Julie and Jeff Dunlap of Gallipolis.

Grandchildren include Don and Sterling Crance, Amy and Ethan Herrera, Sallie and Jeromy Satterwhite, Luke and Elizabeth Crance, Beth and Dave Blevins, Ryan and Sara Crance, Mathew and Beth Crance, Kris and Maria Crance, Jeff Geswein, Bill Geswein Bobbi Dunlap, Katie Dunlap, J.D. Crance and Karie Ann Crance; great grandchildren include Christopher Crance Janell Crance, Jack Satterwhite, Anna Satterwhite, Taylor Blevins, Tessa Belvins, Austin Crance, Ashley Crance, Be`la Crance, Reese Crance and Coen Crance.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Ironton with Father Tim Kozak and Msgr. Bill Meyers officiating. Burial will be in section 9 Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. with the rosary at 7:30 p.m. O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
