Ronnie Ray and Sharon Kay Phillips, of Chesapeake, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Aug. 20.

The couple has two sons, Ronnie Ray Jr. (Bonnie) Phillips, of Gallipolis, and Eric Scott (Kristy) Phillips, of Chesapeake. They have nine grandchildren.
