Trojans top Lady Panthers

PORTSMOUTH — The Chesapeake Lady Panthers dropped a volleyball game to the Portsmouth Lady Trojans in straight sets on Tuesday.

Portsmouth won 25-23, 25-14 and 25-21.

Macy Allen had 3 points, 6 kills and 6 blocks to lead the Lady Panthers. Sarah Brumfield added 5 points and 11 digs while Kenzi Moore had 4 kills and 9 blocks.

In the reserve match, Chesapeake won in straight sets 25-13, 25-10.

The Lady Panthers play at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Ironton.
