Village appreciates all the hard work on Safety Day

Published 10:13am Tuesday, November 6, 2012

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Chief Gary Sherman and the Coal Grove Fire Department for their Safety Day held on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Coal Grove.

The Safety Day was well organized, well attended and very successful.

Although we do not know every person who was behind the success of the program, we whole-heartedly thank each and every volunteer for caring about our community and wanted to let them know we appreciate their efforts in promoting safety for our citizens.

Thank you on behalf of Mayor Larry McDaniel, council members Chris Brammer, Juelda Collins, Dee Carpenter, Bob Markins, Bob Self and myself.
