SOUTH POINT — This one was over almost before it started.

The South Point Pointers roared to a 29-0 first quarter lead and coasted past the young and inexperienced Rose Hill Christian Royals 92-19 on Tuesday.

“The good thing is everybody got to play and everyone scored. We only played our starters a quarter or so,” said Pointers’ coach Chris Barnes.

Brandon Barnes had 17 points to lead four players in double figures. Brady Rickard scored 14 points, Kurt Adams — who hit three 3-pointers — scored 13 points and Brandon Boggs added 10.
