Fairland at Chesapeake

The Fairland Lady Dragons at Chesapeake Lady Panthers basketball game scheduled for Thursday has been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.

 

Fighting Tigers’ season

The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ season basketball tickets are now on sale.

Tickets are $45 for adults and $18 for students. Price includes nine home games but does not include games for The Classic or Martin Luther King Shootout.

Tickets are on sale in the high school auto shop office during school hours or at the home basketball game.

The Ironton Fighting Tigers’ 2012 football season highlight tape is now available.

The double DVD disc set is $30 and available by contact Sam or Penny Heighton at (740) 532-7951.

 

SPLL to host benefit

Breakfast with Santa

The South Point Little League will host a “Breakfast with Santa” from 8-10 a.m. on Saturday at the Casa Grande restaurant in South Point. Admission is $5 with all proceeds benefitting the South Point Little League.

 

Fairland youth wrestling

The Fairland Biddy Wrestling League will conduct a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Proctorville Volunteer Fire Department on State Route 7.

Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children. Dinner includes salad, bread and dessert.

All proceeds will go toward the purchase of equipment and uniforms for teams.
