PROCTORVILLE — The village of Proctorville will give one last tribute to longtime businessman and community supporter, Ernie Hall Jr.

The office of Mayor Rick Dunfee is asking residents to line the village streets following the Saturday funeral of Hall as the hearse bearing his casket will drive through the streets before going to Miller Memorial Gardens.

Hall, second generation owner and operator of Hall Funeral Home that was at one time on Elizabeth Street, died Sunday.

“Ernie had his business in town for many years and they are going to make one last stop by the funeral home,” Dunfee said. “We are asking people to pay their respects. He was a longtime village resident, friend and neighbor.”

The funeral is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and Dunfee expects the procession to begin at noon.
