Ohio University Southern to prepare students for move to Athens campus

Published 12:03pm Wednesday, February 20, 2013

With Ohio University Relocate Day coming up in March, OU Southern is hosting an event to help prepare students even further as they begin their transition from regional to main campus.

The “Q & A: Moving to the Athens Campus including on and off-campus living” event is set for Feb. 27 at the Rotunda in Ironton.

The event, presented by housing representatives from Athens, is designed to answer questions related to off-campus apartment searching, on-campus room selection, on-campus residence life and other questions students may have.

Relocate Day will be held in Athens on March 22. Regional campus students planning to move to Athens for the fall semester are encouraged to attend as they will be first students to register for courses and have their choices of classes and times.

Students planning to attend Relocate Day must pre-register at www.ohio.edu/orientation by clicking on the Relocate Day registration link.

Anyone seeking additional information for either event, or transportation to Relocate Day, can contact Nina Queen at 740-533-4548.
