SOUTH POINT — Neither team could score for a half, and then both couldn’t stop scoring.

The South Point Pointers and East Carter Raiders played a scoreless first half and then they scored four total goals over a 12-minute period and end in a 2-2 tie Tuesday in a soccer game.

Marq Harris got an unassisted goal at the 43:00 mark of the second half as the Pointers broke the scoring deadlock.

The Raiders tied the game six minutes later and then Micah Harris had an unassisted goal at the 53:00 mark as the Pointers went back in front 2-1.

But East Carter scored two minutes later to tie the game.

Goalie Brady Rickard had nine saves for the Pointers.

South Point (4-0-1) visits New Boston at 6 p.m. Thursday.
