Stephen Littlejohn

Stephen Ray Littlejohn, 61, of Ironton passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born April 18, 1952, the son of the late Clyde and Alberta Harper Littlejohn.

Stephen was a student of Ironton High School. He enjoyed watching TV and spending time with his kids. He also loved acting silly and just having fun.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Charles Lee Littlejohn; two brothers, Alva Justin Littlejohn and Ralph Leon Littlejohn; a sister, Brenda Gail Littlejohn Clark; and a granddaughter, Mattison Littlejohn.

He is survived two daughters, Michelle (Sonny) Knipp and Amanda Reynolds of Ironton; two sons, David Franklin Littlejohn and Stephen C. Littlejohn of Ironton; a sister, Sheila Rose Littlejohn of Ironton; four Brothers, Clyde Littlejohn, Kenneth Vincent Stapleton, Phillip Michael (Joy) Stapleton of Ironton and David Lee (Nancy) Stapleton of Florida; eight grandchildren, Hana Ruggles, Gerrod Ruggles, Erin Riley, Marley Littlejohn, Layla Littlejohn, Kira Mulkey, Dustin R. Reynolds II and Joshua Dixon; and two ex-wives, Dottie Jean Wilson of Ironton and Brenda Reynolds of Ironton.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Ice Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

Estelle Dube’ Payter, 90, of Proctorville, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at River’s Bend Health Care Center, South Point.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ann’s Catholic Church by Father Charles Moran. Visitation is an hour before the service at the church. Freddie Joe Black, 64, of Proctorville, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Black. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville.

Georgia Louise Griffith-Hall, 91 of Flatwoods, Ky., died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at her daughter’s home in North Chesterfield, Va.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods with Rev. Shane Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Carman Funeral Home, Flatwoods.
