Published 2:46am Wednesday, April 16, 2014

COLUMBUS (AP) — When Ohio State hosts Illinois in football this season, fans might want to bring a blanket and gloves. It will be the Buckeyes’ first November night game.

ABC/ESPN released its schedule of night games Tuesday, and the Buckeyes will host Illinois on Nov. 1 at 8 p.m.

Ohio State will also open under the lights in its home opener, against Virginia Tech on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. The Buckeyes will also play at Penn State on Oct. 25 at 8 p.m.

The only other Ohio State start time that is known is the Aug. 30 opener against Navy at Baltimore’s M&T Bank Stadium, which will begin at noon.

The Big Ten Network will announce its slate of night games on April 22.
