Two indicted for meth

Two Proctorville residents arrested twice for allegedly making meth were indicted this week by a Lawrence County grand jury.

Michelle L. Nichols, 35, of 14508 State Route 7, and Eric L. Fuller, 23, of 14460 State Route 7, were each indicted on two second-degree counts of illegal manufacture of drugs. According to the indictments, the charges stem from two separate incidences on June 28 and Aug. 6. They were also both charged with fifth-degree possession of drugs.

Fuller was additionally charged with fourth-degree assault on a peace officer and fifth-degree vandalism.

The pair was first arrested on June 28 when deputies allegedly found them making meth in soda bottles near an abandoned school on Meade Street and State Route 7 in the village.

While out on bond, the two were arrested for allegedly making meth a second time at the Athalia Boat Ramp on Aug. 6.

Other indictments this week, according to the office of Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson, are:

• Sara J. Niece, 34, of 315 Ridgeway St., Coal Grove, possession of drugs;

• Charles M. Brown, 28, of 64 Township Road 181, Ironton, possession of drugs;

• Jeremy D. Boll, 33, of 369 Township Road 332, Ironton, endangering children;

• Joseph A. Settle, 36, of 301 Township Road 276 N., South Point, endangering children;

• Matthew McFarland, 21, of the Grandview Inn, South Point, aggravated robbery;

• Charles M. Lester, 36, of Route 3 Box 46 E, Hurricane, W.Va., burglary;

• James R. Ison, 28, of P.O. Box 237, Ironton, receiving stolen property;

• Deanna K. Cornell, 34, of 20 Township Road 1227, Proctorville, forgery and two counts of receiving stolen property;

• Brittany Hale, 25, of 2317 Wilson Ave., St. Albans, W.Va., two counts of forgery, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Ronnie L. Thomas Jr., 30, of 4804 Raven Drive, Charleston, W.Va., theft and possession of criminal tools;

• Joseph B. Conley, 21, of 100 Township Road 1436 Unit C, felonious assault and misdemeanor domestic violence;

• Larry Farmer, 63, of 2516 S. Sixth St., Ironton, failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer and misdemeanor counts of OVI, driving under OVI suspension, resisting arrest and reckless operation;

• Bryan D. Patrick, 26, of 622 Lane St., Coal Grove, failure to comply with order or signal of police officer and misdemeanor driving under OVI suspension and speeding;

• Amber D. McCune, 28, of 117 Ashland Drive Apt. A, South Point, misdemeanor assault;

• Harvey D. McCune, 40, of 117 Ashland Drive Apt. A, South Point, misdemeanor assault.
