Keynote speaker for the Annual Freedom Fund Banquet sponsored by the Southeastern Ohio NAACP branch serving Gallia, Jackson and Lawrence counties is Huntington’s David Harris.

Harris serves on the Huntington Police Civil Service Commission, is president of the board of directors of the Southwestern Community Action Agency and A.D. Lewis Community Center, is a youth league baseball coach and board member and is an executive committee member of the Huntington/Cabell branch of the NAACP.

The banquet takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the University of Rio Grande in Gallia County. Gwendolyn Rossum, of Jackson, will provide music. Tickets are $25 and still available.
