WILLOW WOOD — It was good enough.
The Symmes Valley Lady Vikings didn’t have their best performance, but it was enough to beat the Corning Miller Lady Falcons in straights sets on Monday in the Division IV sectional volleyball tournament.
“We didn’t play as well as I would have liked at times, but it was a win,” said Lady Vikings coach Kristin Klabier.
Symmes Valley won 26-24, 25-20 and 25-21.
Kinley Patterson led the Lady Vikings with 10 points including two aces. She also had four kills and eight digs.
Ericca Ross had seven points with an ace, 10 assists and seven digs. Sierra Ross handed out nine assists and Makayla Herrell had nine points with an ace.
Taylor Webb was strong at the net with 11 kills and two blocks. Kaitlyn Crabtree had eight kills and one block.
The Lady Vikings next tournament game is 6 p.m. Thursday at Racine Southern.
