Conor Oberst among second round of Nelsonville performers

Huntington’s Childers to play event

A second round of performers has been added to the line-up of the Nelsonville Music Festival.

According to press release from Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville, which organizes the four-day event, Conor Oberst, Cloud Nothings, Frazey Ford, Michael Hurley, Aldous Harding, Mirah, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Valley Queen, The Easy Leaves, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, Wesley Bright & The Honeytones, Adam Remnant, Swarming Branch, Counterfeit Madison, Doc Robinson, Caitlin Kraus, and Blue Moth are scheduled to play.

Huntington-based musician Tyler Childers is also among the acts named in the second round of performers.

Oberst, a critically-acclaimed musician known for his work in Bright Eyes, was named Rolling Stone’s Songwriter for the Year for 2008.

The first round of the line-up, which included Ween and Emmylou Harris, was announced last month.
