Herd sets starting times

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football will play all of its 2017 home games at either 2:30 or 6:30 p.m., the Thundering Herd announced Thursday.
The first two home games, against Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 2 and versus Kent State on Sept. 16, will start at 6:30 p.m.
The Oct. 14 Homecoming tilt with Old Dominion and the FIU showdown, two weeks later, is set for 2:30 p.m.
Marshall will face WKU at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Southern Miss on the 25th at 2:30 p.m.
The start times for the program’s road games at Charlotte (Oct. 7) and UTSA (Nov. 18) will be set at a later date.
Broadcast availability for all of the games above will be made available next month as Conference USA partners finalize their selections.
The start times (and any possible broadcast outlets) for non-conference games at NC State (Sept. 9) and Cincinnati (Sept. 30) are also yet to be determined.
As was announced in April, Marshall’s Oct. 20 game at Middle Tennessee (7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT) is set to air on ESPN2, while the Thundering Herd’s Nov. 3 contest at Florida Atlantic (6 p.m. ET) will be carried on CBS Sports Network.
