The following positions currently are posted with the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services’ One-Stop Employment and Training Center, 120 N. Third St., Ironton, include: credit clerk, mechanic, fast food workers, EMT, inventory clerk, nurse’s aides, physical therapist, registered nurses, security officers, telemarketing, over-the-road truck drivers, clerical, traveling photographer, manager, experienced commercial roofers, licensed practical nurses, heating and air-conditioning repairman, pizza delivery driver, carpenter’s helpers, chemical applicators, tree-trimmers, electrician, delivery driver, miscellaneous sales, waitress, aerobics instructor, cooks, production workers and heavy equipment operators.

Desco Federal Credit Union has named Robert Berry as collection manager and John Mahle as collection officer.

Berry, who has worked with Desco since 1982, has served in various capacities with the firm, most recently as a loan officer in the New Boston branch. He is a native of Portsmouth and is a graduate of Ohio University.

Mahle has been associated with Desco since 1993, with his most recent assignment in building maintenance and construction. He is a lifelong resident of Portsmouth.

Bob and Carla Boyd of Kitts Hill recently joined the network of Kuhns Bros. Log Homes Inc.

Their first open house will be Saturday, Aug. 28, in their own custom-designed Kitts Hill log home.

Kuhns Bros. has corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Lewisburg, Pa., and has crafted kiln-dried log home packages for more than 15 years, annually delivering more than 200 homes across the United States and the world.

Lorie Logan, O.D., has joined Ashland Advanced Eye Care Center.

She is a native of Wheelersburg and holds a bachelor of science and doctor of optometry degrees from The Ohio State University.

After graduation, she completed a hospital-based ocular disease residency at the Huntington, W.Va., Veterans Administration Medical Center. She is a member of the American Optometric Association.
