HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University athletic department will host "Choose Your Seat" from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Marshall Stadium for fans who have yet to purchase season football tickets.

The Herd football team will be at the stadium from 10:30-11:30 a.m. for autographs and pictures.

Season tickets for a Family Plan of four is $345; ThunderZone tickets are $105, blue reserved $126, and chairbacks $226 with a donation to the Big Green Scholarship Foundation that is required for chairback seats.

A season ticket is good for all six Marshall home games plus the Mid-American Conference championship game on Dec. 3 that will be played in Huntington.

Marshall is the preseason favorite to win its division and the MAC title. The league champ gets an automatic berth in the third annual Motor City Bowl.

Ohio bus trip

The Tri-State Alumni Chapter of Ohio University has organized a motorcoach trip for the Ohio at Ohio State game on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Cost is $60 per person which covers round trip transportation from Ironton to Columbus, game ticket, coffee and doughnuts, and light snacks.
