Edith Bond Ferguson
June 14, 1912-Aug. 11, 2001
SOUTH POINT – Edith Bond Ferguson, 89, of South Point, died Saturday at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
The Ashland, Ky., native was born June 14, 1912, the foster daughter of the late Frank and Helen Elkins.
She was retired from the cafeteria at Houdaille Industries and a member of the First Baptist Church in Proctorville.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Blankenship.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville, with the Rev. John Alley officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Memorial Gardens, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 8850.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Alfred Eastham
COAL GROVE – Alfred Eastham, 42, of Coal Grove died Sunday at his home after a sudden illness.
Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.
Mickie Tasker
Mickie Tasker, 92, of Ironton died Sunday at her home.
