Lee Jonas, a case manager for Big Brothers/Big Sisters Ashland/Ironton; J.B. Miller of WKEE-FM; Patty Price of Huntington, W.Va.; and Jesse James, of WTCR-FM, hosted a free pizza lunch Thursday on the Lawrence County Courthouse lawn to raise awareness for the organization. Big Brothers/Big Sisters pairs children from single parent homes with a mentor. "A lot of times a single parent doesn’t have time to provide one-on-one time with their children," Jonas said. Volunteers must be at least 19 years old and have a current driver’s license. Currently, Big Brothers/Big Sisters has 55 children who need sponsors. For more information, call 1-800-971-2101.
