The Pirates, 5-0, rolled up 384 total yards offense led by Luke Emnett with 171 yards and two touchdowns.

Gill had his biggest game of the season with 100 yards rushing and 120 passing. Schmidt finished with four catches for 101 yards.

Wheelersburg scored 28 points in both the first and second quarters to take a 56-7 halftime lead.

Dusty Chamberlin caught a 19-yard touchdown pass from Gill and it was 14-0. Emnett then broke free on a 47-yard touchdown run for a 21-0 lead.

Linebacker Josh Mayhew, who played for Minford last season, intercepted a pass and ran it back 65 yards for a touchdown and Josh Tilley’s fourth conversion kick made it 28-0.

Parkes hauled in a 12-yard touchdown pass from Levi Gilliland in the second quarter and it was 28-7.

But the Pirates took over from there as they scored four touchdowns, all on the ground. Tilley had a 37-yard scoring run, Gill went 10 yards, Gabe Klaiber ran 1 yard, and Emnett dashed 58 yards.
