A member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8850 bows his head during Veterans Day ceremonies at
Woodland Cemetery Thursday.
World War I veterans Homer Dawson and Curtis Bryant, for whom the school
district was named, were honored earlier at Dawson-Bryant High School in Coal Grove during a dedication ceremony.
Also honored during the ceremony were WWI veterans John Cripple and William Wesley Wyne.
