Stevens and Wells had record-setting performances as the Ohio University Southern Campus Trailblazers swamped Clark State 116-86 Sunday at the Ironton Sports Center.

Stevens broke his own school record of nine 3-pointers as he drained an amazing 13 from behind the arc in setting a new single-game scoring record with 47 points. The 47 points broke the old mark of 44 set by Carlos Henderson.

Wells scored only 3 points but set a new OUSC record with 15 assists.

Lost in the hoopla surrounding Stevens and Wells was a 30-point, 16-rebound performance by Momir Gajic that enabled the Trailblazers to improve their record to 6-4 on the season.

Danny Johnson had 14 points and Maurice Creel added 10 points to the winning effort.

Bobby Cameron had 21 points and Marchello Cox scored 20 to lead Clark State. Donald Brown added 14.

OUSC jumped in front 56-36 the first half as Stevens poured in 35 of his points. Gajic contributed 13 points in building the big lead.

Johnson scored 13 of his points the second half, Gajic had 17, and Stevens added 12 as Ohio Southern added to its lead. Cameron and Cox combined for 21 points the second half for Clark State, 3-1.

Ohio Southern is back in action at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kentucky Christian College in Grayson, Ky.
