Girl Scout Troop 1258, Brownies and Juniors, volunteer Merty Wireman helps troop members Torrie Miller, Diana Wolf and others place collected books on the nurses’ station shelf at River Valley Health System’s pediatric unit Thursday. The scouts also donated food to area church pantries and pet supplies to the Lawrence County Humane Society.
