Thursday

AA will meet Thursday at 8 p.m at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the basement.

Al-A-Teen will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Sunday school room behind the church.

Perry Township will have its regular meeting Thursday at 7 p.m in the Deering town hall. Organizational meeting will follow.

Friday

Windsor Township will have its organizational meeting at 7 a.m. Friday at the township hall.

Aid Township trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Friday at the town hall to close out the year.

Saturday

Hamilton Township will have its organizational meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the fire station on Old U.S. 52.

Fayette township organization meeting will be Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Burlington Fire Station.

Monday

Elizabeth Township will have its organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at the Pedro Fire Station.

Union Township trustees will have their organizational meeting Jan. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lawrence County Municipal Court in Chesapeake. The regular monthly meeting will follow at 7 p.m.

Lawrence Chapter OES No. 437 will have its stated meeting Jan. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Ironton Masonic Temple. Cora Roach, worthy matron, and Carl Dilley, worthy patron, will preside. There will be initiation work. Officers wear long dress of your choice. Fellowship and refreshments will follow, with hostesses Eleanor Dickess, Beatrice Conhehan and Rita Brubaker.

Ironton High School Class of 1947 monthly ladies’ luncheon will be Jan. 3 at 12:30 p.m. at the Ashland Plaza Hotel.

Mason Township trustees will have their organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at the Mason Township grange.

Ironton High School Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Room 25 at Ironton High School.

South Point Village Council will hold its regular and organizational meeting Jan. 4 at 6 p.m. at village hall.

Washington Township trustees board will hold its organizational and regular meeting at 8 a.m. Jan. 8 at Blackfork School.

City of Ironton Sanitation Department will run garbage routes on the regular schedule for the New Year’s holiday.

Lawrence County Agricultural Society membership tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at Jack’s Hardware in Proctorville and Morris Barber Shop in Ironton.

Chesapeake Board of Education will meet Jan. 6 at the middle school library at 7:10 p.m. beginning with the organizational meeting. The budget hearing and regular monthly meeting will follow.

Ironton Board of Education will have a tax budget hearing Jan. 10 at noon at the treasurer’s office for the fiscal year beginning July 7. The budget will be available for review in the treasurer’s office beginning Jan. 10.

Ironton City School will have an organizational meeting Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. at the administration Building.

Rock Hill Local School District will have a tax budget hearing Jan. 4 at 9 a.m.

Rock Hill Band Booster will meet Jan. 4 at 7 a.m. in the Rock Hill High School Band Room.

Fairland Local Board of Education will hold its organizational meeting Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at Fairland East Elementary. The tax budget hearing will be at 7 p.m.
