AA will meet today at 8 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the basement.

Al-A-Teen will meet at 8 p.m. today at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Sunday school room behind the church.

Chesapeake Board of Education will meet today at the middle school library at 7:10 p.m. beginning with the organizational meeting. The budget hearing and regular monthly meeting will follow.

Coal Grove Village Council will meet at 6 p.m. today at the townhouse for its organizational meeting. The regular meeting will follow.

GOP Victory Club will have its organizational meeting at 7 p.m. today at the courthouse on the third floor.

TOPS of South Point will meet today at Briggs Southern Branch Library. Weigh-ins will be at 5:30 p.m., with the meeting beginning at 6 p.m. For more information, call 377-4305.

Overeaters Anonymous 12-step study group will meet at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the annex.

Saturday

Chesapeake Branch of Briggs Lawrence County Public Library will have a Pokemon Card Trading Day from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

St. Joseph High School will have a dinner for the high school homecoming game Saturday. Social hour will be at 3 p.m. and dinner will be served at 4 p.m. Cost is $15 per person, including admission to the game. VFW Post 6878 and Ladies Auxiliary will have a pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. at the post in Proctorville. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children 10 and under.

Washington Township trustees will have their organizational and regular meeting at 8 a.m. Saturday at Blackfork School.

Sunday

Lawrence County Bass Club will meet at Briggs Lawrence County Public Library in Ironton from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Monday

Dawson-Bryant Local Board of Education will have a hearing Monday at 5 p.m. at the board office for the fiscal year tax budget commencing July 1. The hearing will be followed at 6 p.m. by a special and organizational board meeting.

Fairland Local Board of Education will have its organizational meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Fairland East Elementary. The tax budget hearing will be at 7 p.m.

Green Local School District will have a public hearing on adoption of the tax budget Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the school library. There will be two copies of the budget on file in the treasurer’s office for public inspection.

Ironton Board of Education will have a tax budget hearing Monday at noon at the treasurer’s office for the fiscal year beginning July 7. The budget will be available for review in the treasurer’s office beginning Monday.

Ironton City Schools will have an organizational meeting Monday at 6 p.m. at the administration building.

Lawrence County Chapter of the Ohio Horseman’s Council will hold its monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the Bowman Auditorium at OUSC. Interested horseback riders are invited to attend.

Lawrence County Humane Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Ironton City Center.

Chesapeake Branch of Briggs Lawrence County Public Library will have a preschool storytime at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday for children 3-5 years of age.

Ironton City Mission will give out used clothing Wednesday from 8:45 a.m. to noon.
