Lancaster – An expanded roster led to an expanded scoring effort.

The Ohio Southern Campus Trailblazers placed nine players in the scoring column as they hammered Ohio University-Lancaster 95-72 Wednesday.

Andrew Stevens scored 20 points and Momir Gajic had 16 to lead five players in double figures.

Dan Bean had 11 points and 10 rebounds in his first game for OUSC, Maurice Creel got 12, and Derek Combs 10. David Johnson handed out 11 assists.

Tracey Odle, Jason Vickers, and Bean all joined the team recently and coach Ed Fry said they were a welcomed addition.

"After struggling with a lack of depth most of the year, it was nice to play 10 guys and have them produce," OUSC coach Ed Fry said. "Our depth helped wear them down."

OUSC took a 43-33 halftime lead as Stevens and Creel scored 10 points each. Bean had 8 of his points and Gajic 6 to aid the scoring effort.

Stevens and Gajic each knocked down 10 points the second half with Captain adding 8 and Combs 7 as the Trailblazers outscored OUL 52-39 to win going away.

"It was a total team effort. Our passing was tremendous. The only player who didn’t score (Johnson) had 11 assists," Fry said. "We haven’t had many games with that many players in double figures. We’ll need our depth Saturday."

The Trailblazers, 8-12, hosts NCAA Division II West Virginia State at 4 p.m. Saturday and entertains Indiana East University at 2 p.m. Sunday.
