Mike Payne of Ironton washes his semi-truck Saturday in front of his grandmother’s house on Sixth Street. "I’m going to Connecticut in the morning and thought I’d clean her up," Payne said. He usually leaves on Sunday and returns on Friday driving nearly 2,500 miles, he added. "Hopefully there is no bad weather this week," he said. That could be a problem, with forecasters predicting lots of rain here and bad weather along the East Coast.
