its Saturday at the race track. The annual Pine Derby was held at First United Methodist Church for the Cub and Tiger Scouts. Michael Reed, left, cheers on his Pinewood Derby car, while Zack Kriebel waits for his car to reach the finish line. Cub Scout speed race winners were first, Adam Brown; second, Caleb Hammond; third, Sam Cramblitt; and alternate, Carl Smith. Design winners were first, Jeremy Clifton; second, Mitchell Malone; and third, Dustin Moritz. Tiger Cub speed winners were first, Brandon Wallace; second, Andrew Brown; third, Jacob Hammond; and alternate, Chris Wilson. Tiger Cub design winners were Michael Carter, first-place, and Chris Wilson, second. Pictured below are two of the cars created by the Scouts.
