Rock Hill Elementary No. 3 fifth-grade teacher Darrell McFann gives Brian Smith help with his math work while Andrew Knipp works on the figures during class Monday. The school received a $25,000 grant for a 131.4 percentage points improvement on the Fourth Grade Proficiency Test in 1999. "I’m really proud of them," said principal Mick Hairston. He said the money can be used for whatever the school decides.
