"Justin was in total control the whole game. He was very relaxed. He pitched an outstanding ball game," Vikings coach Rusty Webb said.
Anthony Owens went 3-for-3 and Noah Henson 2-4 to back Myers’ pitching effort.
"Henson and Owens had outstanding days at the plate, and Henson turned in an outstanding defensive performance," Webb said.
Symmes Valley took a 7-0 lead in the third.
Billy McCarty singled, Jeremy Simpson reached on an error, and, after a force out, Owens doubled home Simpson.
Myers walked to load the bases and Henson had a two-run double. Adam Corn singled for two runs, Eric Holland singled, a wild pitch advanced the runners, and McCarty had a two-run single.
The Vikings put the game away with five more runs in the sixth.
Simpson was safe on an error, Jeff Ralph singled, and Owens had a two-run double. Myers and Henson had RBI doubles, and Roger Rossiter hit a sacrifice fly to cap the rally.
Adam Corn and Billy McCarty each went 2-3 for the Vikes.
Symmes Valley, 9-2 and 8-0, plays at New Boston Thursday in a league game.
