Ironton Business Association co-president J.D. Carey, Ohio University Southern Campus president Dr. Bill Dingus and Ironton Mayor Bob Cleary present $12,500 – about half the total – in checks to a First Frontier representative. First Frontier, the state’s marketing group, pledged earlier this year to match local dollars for marketing and advertising efforts to attract new industries to Lawrence County. Local leaders attended Thursday’s Legislative Day in Columbus.
