James Allen’s home sits on the old Detroit, Toledo and Ironton Railroad bed in Elizabeth Township, where a local committee wants to develop the Iron Furnace Rail Trail. Allen, and other nearby residents, have questions about the trail and its effect on their homes. A topographic map of Ironton and vicinity, below, shows where the old DT&I line runs across Storms Creek outside of Ironton and parallels County Road 22.
