Workforce Investment Act academy participants Amanda Ackison and Michael Nickels receive help in building their math skills as instructor Leroy Baise tutors them through a session of math problems. The new Workforce Investment Act replaces JTPA and is providing youths with a seven-week summer academy to teach and build the skills they need to succeed in the workforce.
