Abby Thomas, a Girl Scout from Ashland, Ky., paints a Rock Hill logo on scout Brittany Butterbaugh’s forehead during Saturday’s Girl Scouts Carnival at Central Christian Church in Ironton. Scouts from Lawrence County and Kentucky held the fund-raising carnival, with each scout bringing non-members to get more interested. Money raised was split between Friends of Camp Cardinal and the scouts’ Family Partnership, which helps send girls to camp.
