Willis Smith

Aug. 5, 1913-Sept. 27, 2000

Willis R. Smith, 87, of Ironton died Wednesday at his home.

The Lawrence County native was born Aug. 5, 1913.

Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at 1 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery, Section P, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home.

Jimmy McCallister

Nov. 5, 1938-Sept. 26, 2000

Jimmy Ray "Artist" McCallister, 61, of Ironton died Tuesday at his home.

The Superior native was born Nov. 5, 1938.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, with Pastor William B. Phillips officiating.

Burial will be in Vernon Furnace Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mary South

Jan. 16, 1901-Sept. 27, 2000

Mary Evalyn South, 99, of Ironton died Wednesday at River Valley Health System in Ironton.

The Bradrick native was born Jan. 16, 1901.

She was the wife of the late Samuel South.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leo Gibson officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

F.J. Cremeens

March 4, 1924-Sept. 27, 2000

GALLIPOLIS – F. J. "Junior" Cremeens, 76, of Gallipolis died Wednesday at his home.

The Gallia County native was born March 4, 1924.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis, with Pastor Bruce Unroe officiating.

Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike Beaver, Bill Estep, Danny Ray Wilson, Roger Watson, B.J. Cox and Loren Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave Martin, Dennis Cremeens, Shane Wells, Leighton Adkins, Terry Cremeens and Keith Corbin.

Mary Korstanje

Feb. 27, 1905-Sept. 27, 2000

CHESAPEAKE – Mary Korstanje (nee Maria Bruel), of Chesapeake died Wednesday at her home.

The Goes, The Netherlands native was born Feb. 27, 1905.

She was the wife of the late Marion Korstanje.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Huntington, W.Va., with the Revs. Jeffrey P. Wick and Charles W. Aurand officiating.

Entombment will be in the Abbey of Devotion at Ridgelawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Schneider-Slack Funeral Home.

Josephine Roberts

Aug. 3, 1909-Sept. 27, 2000

CHESAPEAKE – Josephine F. Roberts, 91, of Chesapeake died Wednesday at Pulley Care Center in South Point.

The Newark native was born Aug. 3, 1909.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville.

Burial will be in Miller Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Teresa Chapter OES 257 services at 7:30 p.m.

Annie Foley

May 21, 1933-Sept. 28, 2000

CHESAPEAKE – Annie Rita Foley, 67, of Chesapeake died Thursday at her home.

The Detroit, Mich., native was born May 21, 1933.

She was the wife of Morgan F. Foley, who survives.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Detroit.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Mich.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Huntington, W.Va.

Patsy Jobe

March 9, 1941-Sept. 28, 2000

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. – Patsy L. Jobe, 59, of Catlettsburg died Thursday at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland after an extended illness.

The New Marion, Ind., native was born March 9, 1941.

She was the wife of Billie J. Jobe, who survives.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church, with the Revs. Michael Locklear and Steve Williams officiating.

Burial will be in Jobe Cemetery in Lawrence County, Ky.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mollie Kincaid

Mollie B. Kincaid, 99, of Ironton died today at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

She was the wife of the late Earl Kincaid.

Arrangements are pending at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home.

Thelma Goodrich

Thelma Goodrich, 78, of Ironton died Friday at her home.

She was the wife of the late Wilford Goodrich.
